COROWA to MULWALA
This new 43km bike path basically follows the northern (right) bank of the Murray River from Corowa to Mulwala.
From Corowa, the joy starts from near the junction of Cotton and River Streets, and then swings west, following Spring Drive most of the way to Mulwala.
Spring Drive follows a river terrace system for some of its length, and there are many excellent views to the left of the Mighty Murray, and its wetlands along this section.
A highlight of the ride is the Mulwala Boardwalk (see photo) and it is popular to ride to the boardwalk from Corowa, and then return.
The shores of Lake Mulwala herald the final stretch of the ride, and the bike path finishes just before the Mulwala Canal.
From here great care is required if continuing through to the Yarrawonga Weir.
